Joining Makom Balev means becoming part of a transformative journey for some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community. By partnering with us, donors and supporters help realize a vision where adults with special needs are embraced, families receive enduring support, and silent struggles are met with empathy, dignity, and hope.
Donations are critical in helping Makom Balev build supportive frameworks within congregations throughout Israel that integrate individuals with special needs into community life while also equipping congregations to better support and walk alongside their families. Through education, guidance, and partnership with local congregations, we are working toward a believing community where every individual is seen, valued, included, and given opportunity to belong.
Support also makes possible the daily work of Makom Balev’s Day Center — a full-time program uniquely tailored for Messianic adults with special needs. Beyond providing structure, developmental opportunities, and close community, the Day Center creates a place for spiritual growth, discipleship, and purpose. Participants are encouraged not only to receive support, but also to give back to the wider Messianic body through volunteer service with various Messianic nonprofit organizations throughout Israel, allowing them to actively serve and bless others.
Donations are also helping prepare Makom Balev’s new residential center, scheduled to open at the end of the year. This residential program represents a major step forward in expanding the support and care available to our participants and their families. Residents will be encouraged and supported in developing greater independence while living within a loving, faith-centered community. For families, the residential center offers peace of mind in knowing their loved ones are surrounded by people who wholeheartedly care for them and seek to serve God faithfully alongside them.
